Hello there Kiddolink, just wanted to let you know your work is incredible. I bought a couple of months ago your season 1 pack, I has been so good for my project (I'm learning programing by making my game), that I simply cannot pass on more of these! Soon I will get the season 2 pack too, stay awesome :)

Hello, Elbody! Glad to know that the assets are being useful in your project. Your words are INVIGORATING!

Very nice! Programming is a very essential and powerful skill for game development. In the beginning, it's always a very humbling experience. But it gets more and more exciting as proficiency starts to set in. Interesting, challenging and fun, that's how programming should be!

Elbody, I wish you all the best! That may you reap all the good fruits of your efforts by dedicating to your game! Treasure the lessons that you learn along the way. Remember, it's a journey!

Hi kiddolink, your assets packs are great! I purchased most of them already. Is there a way to contact you directly to share the use I make of them, e.g. email?

Hey, Jerenaux!

If you want, you can kindly share the use you make with the assets right here, in the comment section.

Sure! I'm making an online arena combat game, and your SFX are a boon for all the spells. I'm only using a handful so far but I'll for sure use most of them as new spells are implemented.
If you are interested the game is at https://www.play-legion.io . Feel free to share it around if you want,  and as a fellow game dev any feedback you might have would also be extremely welcome, if you were so inclined! :)
In any case thanks for the great work!

Jerenaux, thank you very much for the support!

I just played your game here. Amazing work! Here is my feedback:

  • Gameplay: I liked the turn-based cooldown approach mechanics. It's very different than what I'm used to, but it works very well with just a couple of characters. I think that if the party size gets too big, that may be an issue though. Also, I think I found a bug in the tutorial. The yellow mark that show the movement range stopped working right after a second group came to my aid (I was losing in the tutorial). I didn't manage to get that yellow grid for movement to show again after the second group settled in. In relation to the characters vocations, I enjoyed the warrior and specially the black mage classes, but I didn't manage to be able to heal more than once per battle with the healer. It would be nice if the healing ability could regenerate. Or maybe I just don't know how to do that just yet. I played on casual and got destroyed hahaha. The matchmaking is working very well too.
  • Audio: The BGM is fits very well with the arena atmosphere. The sound effects are also on the spot. Subtle and nice to hear, giving more life and a nice vibe to the battles.
  • Graphics: The HUD, the Fonts, the character sprites, including the tileset and effects, everything reads very well. I liked the clean interface.

Your game is impressive! I'm glad that you found use for the assets in it!

Wow thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, it's super valuable!
I'm afraid the issue with the tutorial was a bigger bug where your connection was reset and it launched a new tutorial, which messed things up a bit, but I'll get that fixed, and I already made some changes to the cost of the Healing spell. This is all very valuable, thanks a ton!

Hey kiddolink!

I am a student game devleoper and I am loving your assets. Your work is absolutely amazing. It just fits perfectly into my game.

And this makes me wonder...Do you take any custom asset requests?

If you do, please tell me your email and let's talk more about it!

Hey, dmkdev!

Thank you very much! Unfortunately, I don't do commissions.

Heya! Great job on all the assets.

I currently own literally every single asset you've added here (and I believe I paid twice for a lot of them lol as it was hard to initially figure out what I did and did not own with all the different 'packs' you've uploaded)

Is there any way I could get access to the Season vol1/2/3 versions to make them easier to manage in my collections / download?

If it's too much hassle, I understand.

Hey, ZeroStatic!

First of all, thank you so much for supporting my work! I appreciate it.

I thought about a solution for this that will apply for everybody who owns every single individual vfx asset package (not the collections). Very soon, I'll make a special "sale" that will allow individuals that are in the situation that I mentioned above to have the right to Claim the Complete Sets 1, 2 and 3. This special "sale" will only be visible for those who own all individual vfx assets. I'll leave this offer available for a long time (maybe months), just to make sure that the people that are interested in this, may also suit themselves.

I'm preparing this. When everything is ready, I'll say so right here!

Thanks!

Alright, the offer is up now! Here is the link for it:

If everything works for you, please, let me know.

Thanks!

Great! Good to know.
